The SECUF wants to know: What is your credit union’s vision for 2020?

Is your credit union looking to expand further into the financial wellness space? For your employees? For students? For members? The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation is here to help.

“Our Spring session for Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor training starts in late February,” said SECUF director Juli Lewis. “We will have a Spring as well as a Fall FiCEP session and a recertification track. All three tracks include recorded webinars, helpful study guides, study sessions and a participant portal to house all of the information in one place. If you have the CUNA training bundle, you can still sign up to take part in our webinars and study sessions for a very minimal fee.”

FiCEP is a great program to help members who are experiencing financial difficulties, demonstrate the credit union difference, attract new members, grow product and service revenue and reduce delinquencies and charge-offs.

Please share this with the appropriate staff members in your Credit Union. The cost of registration is $650 per person and credit unions with SAS funds may apply them to this cost. Scholarships are also available! Credit unions enrolling multiple participants may be eligible for a discount.

Register online or contact juli.lewis@lscu.coop directly. More information can be found on the website here.

In addition, registration also ends this month for our Financial Fitness Tournament. If your credit union is interested in sponsoring a team (or partnering with a local business to sponsor a team), let us know and we’ll walk you through the easy steps to taking the field. Email Juli.Lewis@lscu.coop for details.

“We would love to have each Chapter represented,” said Juli.
