Both the House and Senate are in session this week and will resume negotiations on the omnibus appropriations bill in order to continue funding the government. The clock is ticking… current government funding expires Friday – Jan. 19.
The House of Representatives will consider the CUNA-supported H.R. 2954, the Home Mortgage Disclosure Adjustment Act; H.R. 3326, the World Bank Accountability Act of 2017; and H.R. 4712, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
The Senate is expected to consider S.139, a re-authorization of part of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Read the full Washington Wire here.
