In 2018, volunteers at the Southeastern Food Bank’s two storage centers distributed two million pounds of food and goods to over 75 non-profits in 25 countries.

McCoy Federal Credit Union embodies the Credit Union charter of “People Helping People” through sponsorships to help those in need and dedicated service to their members. Beginning in 1954, McCoy Federal has grown to 13 branches assisting more than 65,000 members to achieve their financial goals and dreams.

 

All In Credit Union awarding significant grants to deserving area organizations
All In Credit Union, based in Daleville, Ala., is once again giving back to the communities it serves by providing the opportunity for a number of local nonprofit organizations to be awarded with one of several grants up to $100,000 for future programs or facilities.

In addition to the $100,000 awarded through All In Credit Union’s grant program, the company’s Helping Hands Foundation also donated more than grant stock art$100,000 to several philanthropic causes in Alabama and Florida in addition to the 1,400 volunteer hours donated by employees in 2018.

Charlie Mingus, chairman of the board of directors for All In Credit Union said, “In 2018, our Board of Directors wanted to do something bold and significant that would make a lasting difference in our communities. We received such positive feedback from last year’s $100,000 grant program that we wanted to make funds available to additional area organizations again in 2019.”

To be eligible for the grant, organizations must complete the official application available at www.allincu.com/grant. The deadline for submission is Nov. 1. Organizations that qualify must be located in one of the 10 counties served by All In Credit Union.

All applications and required documents will be reviewed by a committee with an announcement of the winner(s) to be made by Dec. 31. For details, contact Linda Tew at grant@allincu.com or at (334) 598-4411 ext. 1207.

 

Keys FCU sponsors barbecue cookoff to benefit area veterans
keys check presentationKeys Federal Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the All American BBQ Cook Off which helps local veterans in need. The special event is being held Saturday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Key Plaza to delight guests tastebuds and allow them to vote for who they think should take home the trophies. The fundraiser includes entertainment for children and adults, along with an array of the best barbecue in the south.

All proceeds benefit Southernmost VFW Post 3911 and Navy League Key West Council.
